Space Derby

Space Derby

In the fall of every other year, the Pack 146 cub scouts compete in the Space Derby.  The cub scouts design and build a space rocket out of a balsa wood kit provided by the pack.  The space rockets are powered by wound-up rubber bands and a propeller.

Here are some tips for building a winning space rocket:
